Events and Calendar management
- Consult a calendar, create events and invite delegates to these events with email integration service
- Add topics like: voting sessions (MD-VS module required), Documents and files (MD-DS module required), save annotation on shared files (MD-AN module required)
- Modify the list of delegates invited anytime
- Print the attendee list with full report on presence, absents and login timestamps
- View in real-time on the control panel RED and GREEN icons indicating delegates login
- The calendar and agenda topics are available also on the Multimedia units under the Agenda section
Roles and User management(control panel)
- Create custom roles with different permissions and assign the custom roles to created users
- Permissions are for every single function implemented in the system in a way that it is possible to create very specific profiles that have the authorization to handle only certain sections of the software
- Create users and assign them username, passwords, pictures, biographies
- Insert the email address of each user to keep the delegates informed every time they are invited to an event or every time their password or pin code changes
- Assign users to groups, being in fact able to control and manage invitations and characteristics of entire groups and not of single delegates
Synoptic Room Map Layout
- A synoptic map is a layout that reflects the actual position of the multimedia units in the room
- Access the synoptic map from any device to control several functions: units diagnostic, microphone units (on/off from the synoptic), voting status with custom color coded legend
- Synoptic shows delegate’s pictures and names when they log in to the system
- Integrated with MD-DM (discussion management) the synoptic can handle the microphones during a discussion and show the speaker waiting list and the current speaker with time indication
- Integrated with MD-VS (Voting and Survey module) it is possible to visualize the on-going voting activity where the delegate’s icons change colors at the voting choice made (only in case voting is public)

System Settings
- Easy to use interface to control the technical parameters of the system
- Multi-language capabilities to allow international meetings to be held without language barriers
- Set the login modes: RFID/NFC (requires RFID/NFC authentication module), Username and Password, Pincode, Chip Card Reader (requires CCR authentication module), Fingerprint (requires Fingerprint module and licenses), Anonymous, this last mode allows free usage of the system without the need of authenticating, in this case it is still possible to assign a specific name to each seat position and customize the user profile
- Modify the discussion modes: FIFO, RFC, Time Speaking and set the max. NOM (requires integration with MD-DM)
- Change the voting templates which are pre-created voting choices to be recalled when voting are created into the events (requires MD-VS integration)
- Interface the system with third party control solution with custom API integration (the system automatically send pre-defined strings to the defined third party solutions via TCP/IP)
Note on system security
- All the Marconi MODE solutions are fully based on IP standard. No proprietary protocols or equipment shall be deployed to build the network infrastructure. This means total scalability and an ever end technological support
- The communications and data transmissions between all the devices in a MODE based solution use an encrypted and authenticated communication channel, a double layer of security to guarantee the full protection of the information
